Those practice tests are nice, but I just don't feel like I'm getting anything out of doing them. The ACT is in a couple of weeks for me, and I feel like I'm not getting any studying.

Does anyone have any good books to check out, methods of studying, etc for the ACT? I'm really struggling at the Science part, according to the practice tests...

So my voice is more coloratura than musical theatre. I'd fit more in an opera than a musical.

I've got an audition coming up (for a musical) and I was wondering if anyone knew any good (not over rated) songs for my type of voice. My voice is NOT light, so don't say something like "Green Finch And Linnet Bird" or something cute like that.

Phantom of the Opera classifies as "over rated" too.

Any suggestions?

So I have an audition coming up, where I have to dance, read the script, and sing. I need to wear clothes that will give me the ability to dance and look presentable. Sweatpants would make me look like a slob. Jeans would rip. Skirts aren't appropriate. What should I do?

Is it a hard school to get in? What kind of downsides are there to it? Do they have a big Theatre Arts program? I know they both have a MT and VP program and I can't decide on one of the two.

It seems that at every McCain campaign stop he has to say something trashy about Obama, accusing him of playing the race card. When McCain accused Obama of being the equivalent of Britney Spears or Paris Hilton, I thought it was taken MUCH too far.

What are your thoughts about this? Can this be justified? Do you think McCain does this for air time?

I know this is old news, but are you for/against Bailey Hanks being Elle?

Personally, I'm against it. Autumn has much more experience and is far more talented than Bailey.

I love both opera and musical theatre. can do musicals, and I can sing opera. I've only been in 2 operas in my life, and I've been in 4 musicals. What are skills needed for Vocal Performance? What are the advantages/disadvantages of both?

Everytime i turn it on, the screen just goes white!

And whenever it gets turned on, the white light on the bottom turns on but then turns back off, and the screen just stays white!

I've got naturally wavy hair and every time I use a curling iron, they don't stay. And I do use hairspray. But is there any hairspray or any way that will hold them for a long time?

Something affordable and that can be found in Walgreens or something. :)

I plan on getting curly hair at my haircut next Saturday. Should I get layers? Short or long? For that matter, should I get layered bangs? I don't want it to be too flippy on the ends. I'd appreciate any answer I get. Pictures of examples would be great too.
