I'm having an issue with my Macbook?

Everytime i turn it on, the screen just goes white!

And whenever it gets turned on, the white light on the bottom turns on but then turns back off, and the screen just stays white!

Help is appreciated greatly.

Try booting up into Safe Mode and then restarting your computer from there. That worked for me when I got a continuous white screen on my Mac Pro. To boot into Safe Mode, eject any optical disks and turn the computer off. Then turn it on, and as soon as you hear the chime press the Shift Key and hold it until you see the spinning gear. It may take a couple of minutes while the computer goes through diagnostics, but when you get to the desktop, you will be in Safe Mode. Click the back arrow at the bottom of the window and choose Restart. I hope this works for you!

Yikes...never had an issue like this with mine.

Try holding down the power button for several seconds when you get stuck on the white screen until you hear a long tone, then let go and try booting again after that.

If that doesn't fix the problem, contact Apple and hope for the best. It sounds to me like a hard drive failure, which does happen, unfortunately. If it was a more serious problem like death of your motherboard, you probably wouldn't be able to turn it on at all. Hope you've been backing up!

    Good luck.
