Replacement cord for onn. laptop? ?

I have tried the manufacturer universal cable and a 3rd party universal cable but literally nothing will fit, and the usb-c port won't charge it either. I don't really know that much about computers so I'm lost on trying to find one that will fit

What make and model of laptop, please? what 3rd party universal did you purchase?

When purchasing an aftermarket or "Universal" charger, you MUST be sure to get one that has the same plug.  Most will have the little block in the middle, but if you choose the wrong connector, it won't work.  Additionally, you MUST be sur to get one that has the same settings for wattage and amperage that is required by your specific model of laptop. Otherwise you can ruin your laptop.

Onn are walmart brand generic pieces of junk.

if you can't find the cord for your specific model number on eBay, best to just get a new laptop.

    preferably one that doesn't suck...

That's a harsh lesson to learn. Always protect the power cord. Or end up with an expensive paperweight
