this company hired me and exposed my personal information to coworkers in training?

I work form home got hired  fro this company and was getting trained when the instructor told me to shae my screen , I of course benign new was not aware of all the info n the page. , I shared the screen , there are over twenty people in the training. It stayed on the page with my last for  ss my birthdate and age and PIN we use to sign paper work.  I was mortified when I saw what was being share  for over ten minutes! I am embarrassed, and feel exposed. I am going to contact the HR and  not sure how to approach this, I do not even wan to do the training but need the job. I thinking about suing. He just said "oh sorry" I JUST SAW THAT INFORMATION . I told him I felt mortified and exposed...that was it. any suggestions

i ASK HIM TO SPEAK WITH ME AFTER CLASS, HE JUST SHUT THE VIDEO MEET DOWN EVEN THOUGH i WAS WAITING!

    Sounds like a case of the blind man who was given the keys and wrecked the car.  Now he wants to sue the person who gave him the keys.

    It was your mistake,  not his. Not an HR issue.

    If you want your job, you won't sue.  You could ask them to pay for credit monitoring for a year or two however.  Freeze your credit with the 3 major credit bureaus to prevent anyone from using your information.  There's not much they can do without your entire SSN, but someone might try.  They should also change your PIN.  If you saw your information on the screen, why didn't you bring it to the trainer's attention immediately?

    Suing for what? They didn’t share it, you did by accident.  I doubt much will come of it actually. Change your pin.

    Yeah, I have a suggestion. Next time look at what's on your screen before you share it with 20 people.
