Will I be required to got back to work once I got the vaccine? ?
I live in the UK and I've been on furlough for almost a year now.
Thanks for the answers so far. I got the first part of the vaccine, I'm supposed to get the second one in 2-3 weeks and they told me it's another week after the second one to take effect. The main question is: will I be required to go back to work as soon as the vaccine takes effect or only after they life the restrictions?

We have no idea why you were furloughed. If it was because of no work then you will have to wait until your employer opens up.
Ill health ? You are 70% protected a month after the first jab. So it's up to your employer.

You can be required to return to work without even being eligible for the Covid-19 vaccine.
That doesn't mean it will happen.

Having the vaccine and being furloughed are separate issues......... you will be offered the vaccine when your turn comes, so could be next week, next month or in 3 months time.... your employer have temporarily put you on furlough, so means they have kept you as an employee and you get 80% of your income paid from Government funds, when the employer can reopen( depends on the industry) then they will tell you when to return to work
