My Volvo d13 is losing power after or around 30 mph. What’s the issue causing this? Egr valve or injectors? ?

NEITHER! IT is the FUEL FILTER!>>ALSO>> Use ONLY PENNZOIL ULTRA EURO OIL 0W_40 oil or MOBIL ONE 0W40! The PENNZOIL Is made from NATURAL GAS and you get extended ENGINE WARRANTY out to 500,000 miles! OF YOU EVER USED VALVOLINE the engine will have LOTS of SLUDGE IN IT and PENNZOIL will get it ALL OUT over time! Get a can of AMSOIL POWER FOAM and clean the THROTTLE BODY and the IDLE AIR CONTROL VALVE if it HAS ONE and run the AMSOIL through the PCV VALVE or PCV system to clean the RINGS to SHOWROOM CLEAN! USING PENNZOIL will ALSO protect your pricey ENGINE SENSORS and preserve the CONVERTER and the O2 sensors well! PUTTING DENSO TWIN TIP IRIDIUM LASER spark plugs will get you up to 20 % more MILEAGE and POWER and you will NOT have to use PREMIUM on most cars I have discovered! BOSCH INJECTORS last the LIFETIME of the car! THE REAL issue then is the AIR SIDE of things and OIL is what CAUSES ISSUES over time if you do NOT use the RIGHT TYPE! SYNTHETIC is REQUIRED on ALL cars made after about 1990 to SAVE THE ENVIRONMENT and to get LONGEST lasting engine and ENGINE PARTS as well! >>>A DIRT IDLE AIR CONTROL VALVE and THROTTLE BODY will RUIN POWER in and around TOWN and cause FUEL MILEAGE losses! IT IS ALL ABOUT YOUR OIL CHOICES! Use AUDI approved 502/505 OIL IN THERE! Use ONLY EUROPEAN OIL and PENNZOIL is ONE OF THEM! YOU get a 500,000 miles WARRANTY on the ENGINE this way! >>IF IT IS TURBO CHARGED and you are NOT using a full EURO SYNTHETIC the TURBO will BLOW UP! I hade TWO GREAT AUDI turbo cars and thanks to PENNZOIL i never needed to replace EITHER TURBO! IT S A WONDER OF SCIENCE! LOL! >>>get a can of GUNK ORANGE ORIGINAL ENGEIN CLEANER and CLEAN< CLEAN< CLEAN the ENGEIN BAY to SHOWROOM clean as well! Ata DIY CAR WASH! I have worked on MANY VOLVO CARS and the ones using VALVOLINE would need MAJOR DE-SLUDGING treatments and you MUST USE FULL EURO spec SYNTHEIT made for VOLVO engines! AND PENNZOIL is ONE of THEM! On sale at WALMART for $20/five qts! >>I ONCE did a BENZ C249 FOUR BANGER tune up! IT had SO MUCH SLUDGE and TAR and VARNISH in it from VALVOLINE< i gave the OWNER a near ONE POUND BAG of SLUDGE i collected from the oil pan! VALVOLINE DROPPINGS! JEEZ US! You should NEVER have issues with INJECTORS! Using LIQUI MOLY injector cleaner is a GOOD IDEA< but it is ALWAYS the AIR side of things that makes things FUZZY! RUN AMSOIL POWER FOAM through the PCV system and WATCH a HUGE billow of WHITE SMOKE COME OUT as AMSOIL cleans the PISTON RINGS< the OIL SPRAY JETS< the EGR and the O2 sensor and CONVERTER! It is the MIRACLE CLEANER that PREVENTS major pricey ISSUES! Use those DENSO TT plugs as well! But ONLY the IRIDIUM TT plugs. FOR BEST power, MILEAGE and LOWEST emissions and to KEEP THINGS even MORE clean inside. I ACCEPT Christmas GIFTS ! I just SAVED YOU HOURS and HOURS of AUTO MISERY! AND pricey TIME in the SHOP! >>>the way THINGS WORK< there are TWO FUEL LINES! ONE goes to the ENGINE and ONE returns unused fuel to the TANK! In between is the FUEL PRESSURE REGAULTAOR and gthe FUEL FILTER! On SOME CARS the PRESSURE regulator is ON the FUEL FILTER! In THIS way the FUEL is CONSTYANTLY being cleaned and the TANK NEVER gets DEBRIS in it! KEPING the NGEIN CLEAN can even SAVE your CRANK OISTION SENSOR! Send me a BOX OF CHRISTMAS COOKIES! THANl\ks VERY MUCH! 31800 VAN DYKE, WARREN <MI suite 152. BOBs IMPORT SERVICES I ALSO LIKE SHRIMPO RINGS>LOL and even PEROGIES!

Check the boost pressure.  Turbo is likely shot or there is a pressure leak.

Your car has gone into limp mode.

You will need a diagnostic device to determine the problem so best have a garage do the test as the cheap ones are not very efficient.

Possibly catalytic converters that are plugged up

It is more likely a plugged catalytic converter

You need to have the back pressure in the exhaust system tested to verify if that's the problem.

Quit guessing or you'll waste money.
