Volvo S60 no power to washer pump?

Hi,

Recently have no power to my washer pump, I have checked power at fuse and nothing. I have changed fuse and still nothing. Starting to think it’s a wiring problem :( just wondering if anyone knew or had anything similar?

Car is Volvo S60 D5 2005.

Would prefer an easy fix.

Thanks

No power to in and out of the fuse box ! To check it correctly ,you need to set the multimeter in to 12 V dc ,then put the black wire of the multimeter to a body and red wire to fuse housing at inlet and outlet .If you not read any electricity and fuse is good ,then you need to go to roll compartment ,where washer pump handle is located ,this it can be connector switch or wire disconnected in handel .

You don't even know if you have B+ at the washer pump while hitting the washer button.

You'll need to test for a ground and B+ at the washer pump so you know if that's good or not. If you have ground and B+ at the washer pump replace the pump.

Get a test light,. Check for power and ground at the pump with the switch on. Power and ground is good, the pump has failed. Replace it. No power and/or ground, check for an open wire.
