The question is will I have to plug my video card into my tv before it'll see the hardware on my computer?
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
I'm trying to install my video card but I don't have the mini hdmi thing for my tv yet, the video card seems to have its fan running, but the driver will not see the hardware its self. I'm running off the onboard with the motherboard but I have the videocard installed correctly I don't see why I can't install the driver.
AMD A6-3620 only works with DDR3 and this video card says its, EVGA GTX 550Ti GEFORCE 2 GB SUPER CLOCKED, PCI EXPRESS 2.0 - GRAPHICS CARD - (GDDR5) but... It stated that this computer ONLY SUPPORTS DDR3 (Memory) and this is for memory and this is a video card, does that stand in the same ? This is GDDR5 and DDR5 isn't supported I guess, maybe this card will not work.. ?
I tried to install the driver from the disk it can NOT see any hardware, as this GPU. but the fans are spinning on the damn thing. I don't know what too do... I'm ready to take it back what should I do..

Thank you I'll try the BIOS and see if that fixes this bull ****. Thank you guys I really am glad you told me that I've been rather sick lately and the stress is over the top.
I tried and the BIO doesn't say anything about PCI E. to set as.

Go into the BIOS and set PCI-E as the default graphics device.
Right now your computer is still defaulted to use the on board video.
DDR3 is referring to the computer RAM, not the Video card memory.

What?
Ok, so you should be able to update the drivers regardless of whether or not the GPU is "in use" by a monitor. Honestly, just install the drivers that came with the CD, you'll be fine until you actually hook the GPU up.
And also, GDDR5 memory is different than DDR memory and has absolutely NO relation in terms of working with other hardware on the PC. GDDR5 only interfaces with the graphics card, and so there are no compatibility issues. Most GPU's only use GDDR memory, the type does not matter what-so-ever, so just forget about that period.
