Why is new 5G phones are soaking up DRAM cost and shortage?
Why is the high demand for phones causing the price of DRAM to go up? What factories make RAM for phones, Tablets, laptops and desktop computers? Is it the same factory that make RAM for phones also make RAM for laptops and desktop computers? Even though the RAM for phones are very different than the RAM for laptops and desktop computers.

The price of all silicon chips has skyrocketted, this is affecting all chips - RAM, Graphics GPUs , automotive chips etc are all facing shortages and inflated prices. This is due to manufacturing problems (there was a fire in a major FAB plants) and COVID.
