Opera browser doesn't detect Flash Player?

I have Adobe Flash Player 9 installed, but when I go to sites that use Flash in Opera, I got this message: "you either have JavaScript turned off or an old version of Macromedia's Flash Player. Get the latest Flash player." The sites work fine in Firefox and IE.

Any help would be appreciated

Thanks in advance.

You have to install Flash Player for Opera itself.

Open Opera (and only Opera) and click on http://www.adobe.com/shockwave/download/download.c...

It will install Flash Player again but for Opera this time because Opera uses another version of Flash Player

Yeah I too noticed it. I think best option would be download Flash one more time when it is prompted. This would fix the problem.
