Is it that your a real adulthood begins at 25?

I am 22 years old.

I have done a research about developing with young adults, apparently humans brains don’t develop until 25.

I know when you are 18 you are a legally an adult and when you are 25 your real adulthood begins because 1) Brain fully developed 2) you can drive a rental car 3) car insurance be cheaper 4) a lot of students in school/colleges with autism, adhd and learning disabilities etc ehcp ends as the student reach 25 if they are on education.

I feel like my brain has kinda developed.

Update:

I am an adult not a child

There is no fake adulthood, so there is no "real adulthood."

Human brains develop before birth. What I think you mean to say is that human brains do not fully develop until around age 25. Note your use of "young adults." Young adults can be a term identifying those who are in the early stages (beginning) of adulthood.

According to Britannica, "Adulthood, the period in the human lifespan in which full physical and intellectual maturity have been attained. Adulthood is commonly thought of as beginning at age 20 or 21 years."

Using the Britannica definition, adulthood begins at 20 or 21. Using your "research," adulthood is fully attained at ~25.

You can drive rental cars even if you are under 25, though it may cost more. I wouldn't use that as a factor to determine "adulthood." It is likely a combination of financial responsibility and driving experience that leads to the price difference, as opposed to having a "fully developed brain."

You cannot "feel" how well your brain has developed. If your brain hadn't kinda developed, you wouldn't be able to understand language.

If you are 22, then you are legally an adult. That does not mean you act like an adult.

You say that you know adulthood begins at 25, but then state opinions about what defines adulthood. Cheaper insurance has nothing to do with being an adult. So, in actuality, you don't know, but rather you believe...

Adults rarely have to state they are adults. Just like drunk people are the ones who typically have to state that they're not drunk.

If you want a better answer, try restating your question using better grammar. Next, state the purpose of your question, if it is not clear. Also, leave out things that are not relevant... such as "I'm not a child" and "I feel my brain..."

I'd think actual adulthood begins closer to age 40. My own daughters were ungrateful ankle biters until around age 40, when they miraculously morphed into pretty nice human beings.

It may not be correct, but I also heard from a psychologist that your personality is "set in stone" when you reach 26. There is really no point saying your an "adult" at 18-24 because when you look back you realize just how little you actually understood or cared about, it's crazy how development goes. I have also learned that just because someone is an adult does not mean they are intelligent or make good decisions either lol
