When do you think things will get back to normal globally? ?

I am just SO TIRED of lockdown, and social distancing! I have begun to have anxiety now! I mean, you can not do anything! You can’t go out to the restaurants, malls, or movie theaters! You can’t meet any family members, relatives, or friends! You have to stay home, all day, every day!

You remember how Jesus said that you would know the time of his second coming because there would be wars and rumors of wars, family strife, and earthquakes?

You know how some group of Christians somewhere have, at every point over the past two thousand years, thought that meant he'd be showing up just any old day now, because the things he pointed to are things that happen constantly and never stop?

Yeah.  The world will get back to normal about the time those things stop.

Things are never normal.  There's always something like this nonsense going on.  It's just not always as in our faces as this has been, so it's easier for us to pretend things aren't going from "okay, $#!+ just got weird," to "okay, $#!+ just got weird 2.0."

Give it a few months.  Honestly, I lived through the start of the HIV epidemic, and this is reaching a point where we can all feel safe with things going back to normal a lot faster than that did.

I know it sucks, but if there's one thing living through multiple outbreaks like this teaches you, it's that we can get through it.  We just have to have the proverbial stiff upper lip and soldier on while that's what times require.

If you need something to think about, think about how much more you'll appreciate the value of the little things you probably took somewhat for granted up to this point, which will ultimately make life going forward just that much better.

Depends what country you are talking about, but generally speaking and depending on the take-up of vaccination, things should be getting back to some sort of normal in the latter part of next year.

My poorly educated guess is next summer. By then the vaccines should be making good headway and we will all be able to go outdoors and do things... TOGETHER!!!
