this site is more about starting conversations than finding answers, which anyone can do from just google.

i probably would have joined the military in some fashion.  learn a job skill or trade to get trained on.  use the benefits afterwards and go to college.  i was one of those unsure kids in high school and kind of wasted away my 20s.  i did get an associates degree and am working in inside sales now, and make decent money for a single guy, which is fine.  but i've always wondered about going into the military and learn a job there.  

republicans and conservatives were pushing hydroxychloroquine for covid 19, which wasn't proven to work.  and not approved by the cdc.

but now they won't take an effective, approved vaccine from the cdc, under Trump, since it's an "experimental" drug, and other crazy conspiracies.  

you'd think they would be lining up to take it since it was starting to develop under Trump, since they say Biden can't take credit for it.  

i know that was popular in the marvel movies, but even in movies like 12 strong based on Horse Soldiers you hear Cap all the time.  just curious.

for instance, do you still put captain america trilogy in the C's, Iron Man in the I's, etc?  the avengers in the A's?

i put them in release in the M's as the MCU collection mixed in the middle of my overall collection.

it's not a bad thing to call something a crisis.  it's worse to ignore it and do nothing about it.  and i'm a democrat as well before you start criticizing me.  this is a problem that needs to be solved.

it's a sci fi could be thriller or horror too.  i feel like it was a 90s movie.  it could have been straight to TV movie.  

the only scene i remember is two guys standing what i thought was an airport, in a closet or bathroom holding some sort of rock that might have been from space.  one guy was telling the other to not touch it, as when you do it puts you in a trance, and the other guy drops it and it breaks.  when it breaks, worm like creatures crawl under your skin through your body up to your head.  you can see them move kind of like the beetles in The Mummy, but they were worm like creatures.

the airport i thought was in a desert like location.  

do you only use them for exclusives, then pc for main gaming?  do you use one console more than another for non exclusives?  do you subscribe to multiple online gaming services - psn, xbox live, etc?

conservatives are saying to biden and democrats don't take credit for the vaccine, since it was under Trump and his administration (even though scientists did the work)

but a lot of conservatives aren't even taking the shots because of some fear / conspiracy that they will be dead in ten years or mind will be in control to vote democrat.

the pitcher, or the catcher?

it's a team effort with the catcher working with the pitcher to call the right pitches, framing strikes, tagging them out on strike outs, etc.  

i know some like david ross was really excited when he caught arrieta's 2nd no hitter since that was his only one of his career, and even jake said he was happy for him.

sure pitchers have to make the pitches and even some defense help.  but i think catchers secretly enjoy it a little more.  might be more gratifying to them.  

Rizzo's extension seems like it'll get done.  but if you can only keep baez or bryant, who do you want?

the SS FA class after this year will be deep, and with the Lindor extension recently, that will set the standard for guys like baez.  but if we don't keep baez, there are other options to replace him, including moving hoerner to short stop.

i feel like KB is a more consistent hitter at the plate, especially when he's healthy.  he's off to a good start this year, so if he stays healthy, i think that will only help him.

javy probably has a higher ceiling and room to improve, but KB already seems more polished all the way around, and is still an above average base runner.

with the threads on social media of the cops pulling the Lieutenant over there is discussion going around of proper protocols. 

for one, the cops were overreacting with using pepper spray to force the driver out and pulling out their firearms over not having a license plate and tinted windows.  

some are arguing that if the LT from the army just obeyed he could have potentially avoided being peppered sprayed.  

i've read in the past though that some people just don't always comply with cops due to constitutional rights.  arresting someone for no license plate and tinted windows, and drawing firearms and pepper spraying seems excessive.  

the LT is mix African American and Hispanic.  the officers are white.  the LT was also in his fatigues too.  at one point the LT says "honstly im afraid to get out of my car", one of the officers reply - "yea you should be".  what cop says that?

this is what the BLM movement is about.  not pure defunding the police, but better training and interaction with the community they're supposed to serve and protect as a whole.

and usually for a traffic stop, officers just write you a ticket and be on your way.  not drawing weapons and pepper spraying.

If I make $50,000 a year before taxes?  i make commission on top of that, but how much can i rent an apartment for based on my salary?

I also live in the SW Chicago suburbs as well to give an idea for living cost.
