Does it bother anyone that professional baseball players get paid so much?
Favourite answer:Nope, because I don't measure my life by other people's salary.
I get paid a fair wage plus good benefits, enough to comfortably support my family and make reasonable progress toward my goal of retiring at age 62. Someone else earning an astronomical amount of money doesn't hurt me, so long as I'm able to continue making progress on my goals.

Now that MLB Pulled the All-Star Game From Georgia in Response to Voting Law are they right or no?
MLB announced Friday that in response to Georgia’s new voting law it would move this season’s July All-Star game from Truist Park to a ballpark in another state.
The Cobb County Travel and Tourism Bureau has estimated that MLB's decision will cost local business more than $100 million in lost tourism dollars, according to Atlanta's WSB-TV:
The move served as a warning to Republicans in other states who are trying to restrict voting, and is likely to put new pressure on other organizations and corporations to consider pulling business out of Georgia.

Should Cobb county sue the MLB 100 Million they will lose for the All-Star game being pulled out?
Favourite answer:If Cobb county were that concerned about money they shouldn't have spent $300mm of taxpayer money on a baseball stadium. That revenue estimate is laughable if not absurd.

Should MLB cancel this year's All-Star Game and why?
MLB has announced they have moved this year's All Star Game out of Atlanta. So far there is no replacement city or team to host the All-Star Game. Most cites have only one Baseball team, expect for Chicago, New York and Los Angeles that has 2 teams, 1 in the National League, and 1 in the American League, Cubs, Mets, and Dodgers are the National League teams in each of these cities, and White Sox, Yankees, and Angels are the American League teams in these cities. But I think they should cancel the game, since the game is predictable since the American League pretty much and I will expect them to win this years' game anyways. The last year the National League team won the All Star Game was 2012. The game is just an exhibition game, that means nothing in the standings, they have plenty of time to announce a new host city and team, but I think they should just cancel the game, and award the win to the American League, since they will pretty much just win the game anyways this year anyways.

NY Yankees Lost?
The Yankees lost the Opening Day game to the Blue Jays. This is a bad sign. With Cole on the mount, it must be a sure win. However, I don't blame the players. I blame BASEBALL ANALYTICS. Let the players be players. Most baseball analysts never played professionally. What do they know about baseball? The same is happening in the schools. People that know nothing about teaching have been given the task of preparing curriculums across the board. Let the players be players and teachers be teachers.

How do minor league baseball players survive on such a tiny salary?
The players for the Double A team in my city only make around 8 grand a season.
Even if they just play 3 night games and one Sunday afternoon game per week, I don't know where they would have time to work a regular job because they also have training, and every other week they are on the road for away games.
So its not as simple as working a 9-5 job, and then driving to the stadium to play baseball.
Even during the off seasons it seems like that would be difficult to work full time, because what employer wants to hire someone who is unavailable during the spring and summer months?
Do all these guys have working spouses who support them, while they get to go out and play ball?
