Military - do Captains like being called "Cap"?

i know that was popular in the marvel movies, but even in movies like 12 strong based on Horse Soldiers you hear Cap all the time.  just curious.

    Call a Captain  "Cap" in the Navy, and you'd find yourself  reduced a pay rank, and 30 days of extra duty. 

    That might fly in Marvel movies.......damn sure not in real Military service.

    Captain, sir, or in South East Asia you might hear Dai Wie.......but, only from your own men.

    I have never heard that used in my 43 years in the Canadian Forces, nor in the 5 years of Air Cadets before that.

    We called our CO "Skipper" in the USMC.
