The Trinitarian formula is the phrase "in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit" that's is mentioned in the bible under several scriptures.

Matthew 28: 19  "Go to the people of all nations and make them my disciples. Baptize them in the name of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit"

You won't see the term "trinity" in the Bible, but the concept is throughout the assembled texts, bot old and new testaments. Look for the 3-in-1 in Deuteronomy 6:4,5 and Matthew 22:37.  Additionally, Genesis 1:1 - "In the beginning, God..."God" in the very first verse is from the word, Elohim, which if it were English would be known as a "collective noun," like team or squadron: a singular noun with multiple parts or members.

Then you're either blind or you can't count.

We are told to baptize in the name of the Father, and of the  Son, and of the Holy Spirit. = 3 = the Trinity.  The WORD "Trinity" isn't in the Bible.  The Three Persons of the Trinity are.

The Trinity doctrine began its slow development over a period of centuries.

The trinitarian ideas of Greek philosophers such as Plato, who lived several centuries before Christ, gradually crept into church teachings.

Before Plato, triads, or trinities, were common in Babylon and Egypt.

And the efforts of churchmen to attract unbelievers in the Roman world led to the gradual incorporation of some of those ideas into Christianity.

This eventually led to acceptance of the belief that the Son and the holy spirit were equal to the Father.

So, what is the Trinity doctrine? It is actually a pagan doctrine masquerading as a Christian one.

It was promoted by Satan to deceive people, to make God confusing and mysterious to them.

This results in their also being more willing to accept other false religious ideas and wrong practices.

Maybe you should look a little closer. Obviously the word "Trinity" is not in the Bible, since it was not used until a few centuries after the Catholic Church produced the Bible in the 4'th Century. However, Jesus frequently referred to all three divine Persons - Father, Son and Holy Spirit, both individually and collectively.

If I say that the quarterback threw a pass to the wide receiver in the end zone, and scored a touchdown, are you going to say I never mentioned football, because I didn't use that term?

Sure you do, each time the name of the Father the Son and the Holy Spirit is mentioned, they are talking about the trinity. They just hadn't named it yet.

I can't even begin to understand what it means nevermind where it came from.  It isn't in the Bible.  But even if it were it would still be incomprehensible.

Perhaps you have to look closer

Genesis 1:26 Then God said, “Let Us make man in Our image, according to Our likeness

    1 John 5:7

For there are three that bear witness in heaven: the Father, the Word, and the Holy Spirit; and these three are one.

Philippians 2:5 Let this mind be in you which was also in Christ Jesus, 6 who, being in the form of God, did not consider it [b]robbery to be equal with God, 7 but [c]made Himself of no reputation, taking the form of a bondservant, and coming in the likeness of men. 8 And being found in appearance as a man, He humbled Himself and became obedient to the point of death, even the death of the cross.
