What makes an individual become a pedophile?

it is no more genetic than homosexuality.

it is a personal sexual preference. just like people who like feet, or fat chicks, or enema porn. it isn't something predetermined, but something we just like or dislike.

let me ask you something: do you like milk? why or why not?

it is the same thing. our preferences have to do with our tastes in things. not all pedophiles go out and rape children. but all of them feel some sexual attraction to at least SOME children.

just like how men do not feel sexual attraction to ALL women, pedophiles do not feel it towards all children. it is a matter of personal preference.

We don't know. Scientists have been looking for "the gay gene" but haven't found one.

There are some biologistic excuses, but when you impregnate girls whose pelvis isn't fully grown yet, there's an increased chance that she won't survive giving birth.

Very often, people like that were sexually abused as children.

I always assume childhood abuse but I know someone who is a pedophile and they never knew their father but your father‘s brother who they also never knew as a pedophile. This makes me wonder if it’s in the genes.

That is the result of along time of natural selection. While women are "hard-wired" to prefer men with the power to protect them and their children (usually older men [compared to themselves]),  men are "hard-wired" to prefer women at the peak of their fertility. Unfortunately, that is reached in the late teens. Our legal system is based on emotion, not biology.

A lot of men do so because children are cleaner. They dont sleep around and they dont have diseases. It may be hard to take what I say but its the HARD truth.
