An Indian girl moved in around two weeks ago and the Council inspector came.... ?
I opened the door and he said he's a Council agent and he came to ask questions because the neighbours have been exposing our landlord that there are too many people living in our 5 bedroom house (11 tenants including landlord and his family). But me and her pretended that we're just visiting and we're not living here.
But I've been living here for 2 years exact (April 2019) and know people who has moved out long time ago who has been there since 2018 and left in 2020, we've never had this problem. Is this Indian girl a coincidence or do you think she's the one who's doing it? UK.

Coincidence. The neighbours will have reported it due to the amount of people coming & going.

More likely neighbours have complained about an illegal HMO, the council have investigated/watched and filmed the excessive comings/goings and now have decided to act...likely the next knock on the door will be council with a court order and police with them to stop any breach of the peace and the council will enter and execute the warrant
