Domestic travel BA?

So I need to get to the US embassy later in the year and realise they will take my passport for the Visa. Will I be able to travel back on plane to Scotland? I dont have any other photo id. Can I use birth certificate? Need help please

    Ask BA, not us. Don't you think they might know their own rules and procedures better than we do?

    No, without a photo id you won't be able to fly.

    I wouldnt use BA, they ripped me off and wouldnt refund when my flight was cancelled.

    Check with BA what ID they require; generally it'll need to be government-issue photo ID (eg a driving license)

    Unless your birth certificate has your photo on it, you will not be able to use it as photo ID.  If you are a British citizen, you can get a citizen card, a driving licence or let the train take the strain.
