Can salt make you pee more?

Ive drank too much water and have a headache, can having a teaspoon of salt help me pee more so i get rid of the water faster? Or Will it only make it worse?

    Salt makes you thirsty so that you'll drink more water and that is why you urinate more. Eating the salt is not going to make you pee. if you want to pee and get rid of the headache at the same time swallow a caffeine pill.

    That won't have any effect. Take some ibuprofen and go for a walk. The exercise will help stimulate your urine production.

    Salt will make you pee less, if anything.  I'm sure the water will come out soon.

    I think you will find that salt tends to make your body retain more water.
