No because just about everybody is going to need them in their life! While I hated glasses when I was younger, when I found out that I needed them I got contacts and I never owned a pair of glasses until I was about 30 and that was just for backups. While I still wear contacts quite a bit, I have got used to wearing glasses a lot more and I actually prefer them over contacts now that my glasses are progressive bifocals. I like contacts if I am outside a lot and like my glasses better if I am inside better because I need to carry over the counter reading glasses with me if I am wearing my contacts .I am in my late 40s and just got another years worth of contacts and new glasses. The biggest problem with wearing glasses is they fog up wearing a mask, wear I don't have that problem without a mask and or my contacts. I can see a lot better with my glasses and have been thinking about just wearing glasses but I just got another supply of contacts. If and when they lift the mask mandate, I will be wearing my glasses more and more as I will be phasing out my contacts!
