what would be the price for a Rolls Royce 1983 Cornich Convertible Ecellent condition 21000 miles?

There are too many variables: Is it a dealership, or a private owner. Is there an extended warranty on it? Are the maintenance records available. Is there a CarFax report on the car available? 

I think the guy who was posting prices for fixing a vintage Rolls was just pulling numbers out of his @**.

I looked up some prices.  Brake pads are $50 an axle.  Radiators are $300.

All pretty close to what a normal car would run.

The only thing complicated and exotic on these cars is the self-leveling suspension that's tied in to the brakes.  It's a maze of hydraulic lines, and requires a unique brake fluid, but even that can be sorted out by a mechanic with decent troubleshooting skills.

You have to contact a dealer who sells classic/luxury cars and put it on consignment. They will advise you of what price you can expect or if there is any chance at all of finding a buyer.

Entirely based on condition . . . you should NEVER buy a Rolls without a thorough inspection by a Rolls specialist.  The Corniche held it's value for many years but they have dropped a lot recently - mainly because they are at an age where the potential cost of repairs can exceed the value of the car.  Think $10,000 brake jobs .  . $3000 radiators . . . . $12,000 annual service . . . . mufflers, shocks, water pumps:  the most "ordinary" part on a regular car costs a fortune on an Rolls of that age.  Need new carpet:  $7000 . . . . . reupholster the seats $15,000 easy.  Etc. etc.

I'd say about a buck three ninety eight.
