How to say 'in the centre of this film is...' in german? Is it ' In zentrum von dieser Film ist...'?

    You'll have to explain what "the centre of this film" means before we can answer that.

    Literal translation would be "im Zentrum dieses Filmes ist"

    im - is a contraction of "in dem", in the.

    dieses Filmes - is in the genitive case (like the English possessive case - the film's center), for a masculine & singular noun = of this film

    All nouns are capitalized in German (so -- Zentrum).

    von diesem Film - would be the correct grammar, but it's not said that way. The genitive is used instead..

    Film is masculine, so "diesem" and not "dieser" in the dative case (required for "von").
