My boyfriend loves batman and I wanted to buy him one of these comic books. Which is better?

The Little Book of Batman appears to be a condensed encyclopedia of Batman and his history dating back to the 1930s.

Batman: Nightwalker is a young adult prose novel about a teenage Bruce Wayne investigating a series of crimes before he was Batman.

I read Nightwalker; it was a pretty good story, though it is more geared towards a teen audience.
I would suggest getting The Little Book of Batman.
