Because one cannot leave Islam.You can only leave islam through death but in the quran it mentions you leave islam for 5 times and again come back to the religion but these fools think they are to be killed and kill the apostates.

In 1923, it didn't appear... and the Turks killed the clergy. Clergy wanted to change the calendar from Orthodox calendar to pope's calendar. Now, Jerusalem Patriarchate doesn't raise questions about the calendar. Dead clergy was replaced immediately by Ruski clergy.

Wouldnt be called a priest as that is exclusively Catholic.
