I park my car on the road in front of my house(own house).?

Opposite my house, there is a multistorey building and one tenant in that building has two boys aged 12 and 8 years. One car is parked in front of their building as well. The boys dribble the football between these two cars. Once they damaged our car's bonnet. But they continue to play there. I did not talk to the tenant as yet. The owner sometimes tell the boys to go somewhere else and play. But any day they can damage our car. I don't know how to deal with it, without offending the tenant.

Do you not have off road parking, a garage/driveway? If you do then park there as you always risk your car if parked on a street.

Kids damage a car then you inform the police, your insurance and of course you can present the parents with a bill and sue if not paid as long as you can prove it was them who damaged it.... kids who play in the street generally parents don't care what they do or they would tell them not to play where cars are parked and a road that is used by vehicles they would tell them to go to the park or take them there themselves...so good luck with getting parents to pay anything when all they care about is their kids being out from under their feet

You present the neighbor with a bill for the damage to your car. They probably won't pay but they can see how their boys play between the cars. I looked outside to see some young boys from down the street playing hit the rock baseball with sticks. I asked them to please go play down by where they lived and their parents would explain why you don't play with rocks around cars. They didn't come back and I haven't seen them for months. I guess their parents explained it all to them. I just bought a new car and my next thing would have been to call the police. My sister bought a new Texas truck that costs more than my little house and there were two boys always playing on skateboards and they finally damaged her big truck. The boss paid for it and I didn't see those boys out there again. Someone has to say something and the sooner you say it the less damage you get.

You are able to park you car on any public street you so desire, this is your right. You indicated you own the house.

Does not the house have a garage, where you are able to park your car to protect is and prevent it from being damaged by others and the elements such as rain, snow and hail?

If your car was damaged by the boys, some how the parents would need to know. How do you intend to do this if you do not want to offend the parents of the boys that did this damage to your car?

Apparently they are fairly well behaved and raised, when they are asked to relocate by the owner apparently they do so.

You might want to report any damage to your vehicle to your insurance company, for reimbursement.

I hope t his has been of some benefit to you, good luck.

That is one of the risks you run parking on the street. People can walk by and damage the car. No one can stop kids form playing in a public place any more than they can stop you from parking on the street. You'd be wise to discontinue parking in a spot you know your car might be damaged. That seems like a fairly stupid thing to do.

The parents are responsible for their children's actions. You need to tell them about the problem and request payment for the damage caused. it is not a landlord tenant issue.

Just report the problem to their manager. Give date & time of every incident.
