why should the ICB give novices to assist Dhoni for test matches?

Are you talking about BCCI, then its not their doing, as they are only concerned with how much money Indian team is raking in for them, so that all those politicians occupying various positions can fill their coffers, in the name of service to Indian cricket.

We weren't complaining about this same team, when they won at Lord's in the 2nd Test.

Its a collective failure & this team will mature together, through defeats & odd wins, hopefully sooner than later. Its getting tough to digest defeats after defeats, it was never this bad, despite not winning so regularly earlier either.

So we have to persevere with this lot, maybe without Dhoni soon, as he should lose Test captaincy but to whom, that's another unanswered question, with nobody looking good enough to hold his place in the team, let alone become a new captain.

Dhoni is best batsman.
