Of late the McAfee Firewall in my computer crashes for a second, is restored on command. Why? How to repair?
Mine is Windows XP, Home premium. I have a paid version of McAfee total protection which I have reinstalled after the problem started. It was not there for sometime but has started again.

the cause could be from a bad program update to some sort of malware.
