Game appears only in a portion of the screen?
I've asked this before but haven't got any answers.
I have a Dell Vostro laptop, The resolution is 1366x768, and it runs on Windows 7.
So, whenever I play any games on this laptop, the game appears only in a portion in the middle of the screen in the form of a square with black bars on either side.
What can I do to fix this problem?

Is it widescreen laptop or not?
If widescreen than you have to raise or reduce resolution in game.It worked for me i have 1366x768 resolution too and god those bars were irritating.However there are some older games that don't support widescreen resolution and you can't play them without bars.So play with resolution(usually the highest works on widescreen)and good luck.
