Can you disable youtube on xbox live?
I have 2 kids and i want to be able to disable youtube from being used on xbox live. The filter on the youtube app itself is useless cause they can just change that themselves. Erasing the app is also useless cause they will just download it again. Is there a way to disable the stream to the xbox through the router maybe? something along that line or whatever. thanks.

Good on you for protecting your young ones from some of the garbage on today's networks. You should be able to put a password on various apps from parental controls with a password only you know.

you can remove the app entirely. and yes you can disable the app in the router. if you know the ports it uses.
you can also make accounts to your kids =)
every game you download. they can also play.
just fill in their birthdays and use the family settings in the xbox.
youtube wouldnt work because of the age restriction.
but you would have to remove the autologin to your account.
worth it if you ask me =)
