what is the mileage of pulsar 220 in city?

I am a student, so i want to save as much as i can.This is my first bike and have to stay with it for 6 years. and i love taking care of my machine. i owned a passion plus n i luvd it and use to ride safe n sloww till a year, i live in delhi. I want a superb lookin bike WITH A GRT MILEAGE. i could have gone for r15 but the new version is out of budget. I have a 90,000 budget. and I M NOT Into RACING n stunts n ol. i just want an eye pooper with milage. i want to pur projector lamps , special kits and all. after i but the bike. suggest me some option and pls write their milage. and yes any info about yamaha r125??

    I wont recommend pulsar. P220 has 25-30 at max. Don't fall for any false mileage claims. Pulsar has a very bad gear box, the quality of parts used is not commendable. 6 out of 10 owners would say about bad gear shifting and all sort of noises coming from the engine after an year. you got to be pretty careful with it else have to re-boar it soon. Just ask around how many people re-bored their pulsars. I know because my cousins have pulsars, they have this competition with one another and brought P150 and P180. The riding is fast but not pleasant. Over sensitive disk brakes, vibrations and over heating of engine. Not to mention some constant sound coming from the engine that i got used to it.

    Any yamaha, KTM or Honda CBR's wont come within 90k. It will cross 1lakh easy. Your best bet would be GS150 because Unicorn dazzler sucks. GS can give you some 40-45kmpl. It is highly reliable and you can keep it for even 10 years. else raise your budget and go for CBR 150 it has some hi-tech stuff you asked for except projectors.

    DUDE , im a hardcore rider, i race all the time , if u drive properly avoiding pot holes , pulsar can be the best, 220 will give u 40 to 45 if u ride it with proper gear **** from 40 to 60kmph

    You can expect around 45-50kmpl... It's better than the 200. Dtsi is a pplain carburetted engine, while Dts-Fi has a fuel injected engine...

    Its a bullshit bike. It runs like a rocket on doubt. But if you are not a rider in case. It will be beter for you. I think you must go for hunk ,bullet 350 or yahama fzs.

    i will suggest you to wait 1or 2 weak more. becoz NEW GENERATION PULSAR 2012 is coming with KTM technology.

    mileage of pulsar 220 is 30 to 35 and R15 is abt 30.

    38kmpl is the city mileage according to ARAI. I will prefer you to go for a lower cc engine bike.

    mileage expected is 30 to 35 in cities ..and thn about 40km in highway..
