Batting trio Sachin,Dravid,Laxman excel even now in Tests,how about Dhoni,Rain Kohli's future capabilities ?

For some reasons they had a collective failure in England recently, otherwise these seniors are responsible for taking India to no.1 Test rankings, without half decent English attack, for years on end. If we had couple of decent wicket taking fast bowlers & if Ashwin was a leg spinner, they could rule the Tests, in the company of these seniors and Harbhajan as the leading off spinner. This trio has given mega platforms to our bowlers, to take their time & wickets, once they failed in England, the whole team was shattered.

With Sehwag & Gambhir good for at least 4-5 years, couple more years of this trio, at the most, there is one spot, no.5 or 6, which is rotating b/w Yuvraj & Raina. Maybe Kohli as well, as he can bat around at various positions, meaning Laxman can man no.6, if need be.Dhoni with his century, is back amongst the runs, on Indian pitches but looks susceptible on moving tracks.

There is class in young batsmen but whether or not they have in them to succeed at the highest levels, all around the world like these seniors, is yet to be seen in Tests. Maybe time has come to consider a different w/k for Tests, to succeed Dhoni, at least when team plays overseas, as he isn't a guaranteed success on moving pitches. C.Pujara, A.Rahane & couple of young all-rounders need to be groomed, as we have landed 2 good fast bowlers in Yadav & Aaron, they might pave the way for more fast bowling youngsters. Zaheer will hopefully be back for Aus tour but we should be ready to play more without him, rather than with him, as he is old & injured, which is a major concern. Ojha is a another great find, with Ashwin, which poses serious questions to the established spinner Harbhajan but he has an upper hand in batting dept. & his attitude, without the wicket taking celebration antics, rubs on the opposition, along with his team mates. So all in all, lots of grooming, let England take the pressure of no.1, till we are capable of staking claims, things are looking bright enough, just need cohesion in the youngster's performance at Test levels, which will ensure India is headed in the right direction for some more time to come, wish them all the best..

Very soon one by one will leave Test match. This will open doors for new players. The most important thing is those trio have very good experience and you can see their performance in this series.

Sachin = kohli........ According to me kohli is the most capable batsmen.. He is having good defence, good attitude.. He is most likely to be the future indian captain..

Well, talking about raina, he need to improve his Patience, i mean he needs to improve his defence level.. he should learn how to face bouncy short balls...

Dhoni is good..... Nothing to say about him..

yes they are capable of hitting 400 single section of test :) .......but they cant bat more than one day
