IPL 3 - Don't you think 1,2 and 3 corner all the glory in batting?
Players batting down the order seldom get chances with the exception of D.Karthik and R.Sharma.
Will this prove to be a setback to the middle order batsmen ultimately?
R.Dravid is an example as the worst affected.
@The Wall,This can be offset to some extent by making the pitch a bit helpful to the pacers/seamers.
In the two T20 WC many middle order batsmen shone,Yuvraj,S.Afridi, Dhoni etc..

Its not only in IPL its usually in all t-20 games , the top scorers are always the openers or No.3 or 4.
In international t-20's also the top scorers from most teams are openers.

Edit :: Yes I agree , but administrators think that crowd won't be interested in low scoring games which can result by making a bowler friendly pitch , which I think is wrong , I'd rather watch a good contest between Bat and bowl , then just watching bowlers getting torn apart by top order batters.

Now U know why Tendullcar opens the batting in T20 and ODI. Does he have the guts to open the batting in Test matches like Saywag does ? Absolutely no way.!!!

Y.Pathan has done well in the middle.
But generally the openers get the maximum overs to settle and score.
