Gnome or KDE what are your thoughts?

This is a survey question I am using Ubuntu and thinking of learning the KDE System(s).

    I am a long term user of Gnome, however the new KDE 4 is impressive particularly on OpenSUSE 11 http://www.opensuse.org/

    I played around with Gnome for a while before I started using the KDE, I never liked Gnome much but once I launched KDE everything seemed right. I really couldn't say why, it's just my preference.

    I haven't upgraded yet to openSUSE 11 (long-term 10.x user) but the KDE 4 on it looks amazing.

    i'll declare GNOME using fact that's the only one I certainly have somewhat used. per seems and experience i think of GNOME is extra suitable. It seems air purifier and extra expert. i exploit a MAC at abode yet use Linux at artwork.
