Sometimes. Just make sure that you have clear "rules" as to what the separation means. Is it just time away to think, or are you going to be playing the field? Absence makes the heart grow fonder, but not if you are hooking up with someone else!

Possibly because that gives each person a chance to get back in touch with themselves. People can easily lose their own identity in a relationship and depend on the other person for their happiness. A break sometimes reminds people that it is our own responsibility to make ourselves happy, not our partner's.

no ,absents makes the heart grow fonder, is just a saying. the only thing a separation is good for is giving each person the excuse to have affairs.

Yes i say this because absence makes the heart grow fonder, sometimes you may need that space and time apart to think about what you really want.

    Hopes this helps
