3 Answers1 week agois individual sport safer than collective?
team sports involve clashing with others, one way or another, even soccer. for sure contact sports like football are high risk but even soccer, basketball or anything that may get physical contact.
other individual sports like tennis or swimming also have their injury potential but the risk factor of injury from opponent contact is written off.
there are other collective sport like volleyball with no contact but referring to the main 3: soccer, basketball, football

3 Answers3 weeks agoDo you watch or care for sports? ?
I ABSOLUTELY DO NOT! I don’t care for sports, at all. I never have. It puts to sleep, no offense to anyone, please. Besides, it does not affect my life in any way so I don’t care who wins or who loses! However, I do find it annoying how worked up some people get over sports! They get upset, if their team loses. I am like: Relax, it is just a game, it is not the end of the world!

Looking at fencing equipment sites, the epee, sabre, and foil all seem to be sold hand-specific. Are any ambidextrous?
1 Answer3 weeks agoA question about basketball in China?
Indoor sports such as badminton and table tennis/ping pong are the most popular sports in China, the Chinese excel at these, basketball is also another indoor sport that's extremely popular in China, is basketball popular in China due to lack of real estate in China and the fact it's an indoor sport ? bare in mind that soccer (football for Brits), football (American) and baseball all require a lot of space to play and are all outdoor sports.
4 weeks agodoes anyone have tips for returning to cheerleading after an injury?
does anyone have tips for returning to cheerleading after an injury? I am finally returning to cheerleading after a knee injury which ended in surgery and lots of physical therapy. I think it is almost time for me to start being able to go back to tumbling and stunting. does anyone have tips for getting back into things? Right now I have been focusing on the things I am able to do like lifting weights and stretching. I've never had to return to a sport after an injury and i'm not exactly sure what to expect. I have tryouts for a college cheer team in about a month so I am going to attempt to get my skills back. I need to be able to throw consistent standing tucks and in a perfect world I also want to be able to throw my round-off back handspring full. If anyone has any tips on cheerleading after an injury or how to make the transition smooth please let me know!

3 Answers4 weeks agoAm I too big to be a cheerleading flyer in college?
I am 5 feet tall and 130 pounds. I have been a flyer in high school and I want to cheer in college. I took a year off due to an injury but I now want to tryout for my college cheer team. Do you think that I am too heavy to be a flyer? I have the option to tryout for all-girl or coed. With my height and weight which option seems better? As of right now I don't have a coach to ask these questions so I thought I would try ask here. Thank you in advance!
