  • I found a notebook in my daughter's room with a detailed plan on running away.?

How do my husband and I confront her on this without giving it away that it was private and was found in her room. I'm concerned that with our relationship already very strained that she will lose trust in us and push her further away. Also, what else is she thinking that she HASN'T put down on paper? Please help quickly! We are taking her out to lunch today to discuss this and don't want to seem like we're coming down on her. We're not quite sure what to say.

  • What is the best scrapbooking adhesive you have used?

  • Is it a line when a man says "I love you more than I've ever loved anyone before"?

Even if he's been saying it since the beginning of your relationship (we're talking over a year).

  • Most of the time, I feel so lonely. Does anyone else get this way?

I can be in a room full of people, or around my family and friends and still feel a million miles away. I have had problems trusting people throughout my life and since my divorce, I seem to be shutting everyone out...not intentionally, but there's not substance to any of these conversations.

How can I finally start loving myself? Therapy hasn't helped, I've been to 3 and they are all so condescending and aloof. Sometimes I wonder if they are actually listening. The last one yawned through the entire session.

    Help?

  • Ideas for part-time jobs?

I'm looking to earn a little extra money. I'm not great with kids, but I love animals, the outdoors, and working with my hands. Anyone have any suggestions? Free room and board would seal the deal!

  • I want to travel for free and I have no obligations here in the US. Suggestions?

I have recently learned that the company I work for will be shutting down. In June, I will find out how much longer they will need me. Could be one month, could be three years.

Either way, I'm looking for a way to travel. I'm in the process of selling or storing my belongings so that I need as little as possible. I was thinking of the Peace Corps, something along those lines.

Suggestions anyone? Any personal experience with such a group?

  • Is ovulation necessary?

I saw my doc the other day about a painful ovarian cyst I have that showed up on a hip MRI I recently had. He said to take Motrin and that our bodies as women aren't made to ovulate every month. That we are meant to be pregnant nearly all of our child-bearing years (I guess harkening back to the days when women married, had kids, and died much sooner). Has anyone else heard this before? I think I need a 2nd opinion, he says to let the cyst go, even though I have a fairly recent history of a cyst rupturing.

  • Meaning of a dream I had-involving dead loved ones and spirituality?

I am an athiest, not very spiritual, and recently separated. I had a dream last night that involved my mother and a pastor (who are alive), and my grandmother and a friend (who are both dead). I was sitting with the pastor, my mother, and my grandmother and we were discussing the afterlife. I asked my mom to please tell me how she knew that there was a God and heaven. I pleaded with her to tell me how she knew that there was a heaven and asked how my grandmother got to heaven. She said "You know everything, why are you asking me?" I was asking her for proof of the afterlife to save my soul and she was so smug and sarcastic. I then got frustrated and went to change my clothes and leave. In the room where I was changing, there was a mirror. I moved to the left side of the room to avoid my reflection and my reflection moved to my right in order to see me. What does this dream mean?

  • I have five days and about $1,700 total to spend, where is a good place to go on vacation alone?

I am newly separated and need to take a vacation to clear my head. I will be going at the end of December. I would prefer somewhere warm, just not Jamaica (bad experience). What do you suggest I do? Remember, I'm going alone and I want to relax and have fun!

  • What is the best SUV out there for your money? Mid size, nothing too big?

I need to find a good SUV that's not too expensive and not too big. I don't want something that's going to take a lot of extra maintenance and it has to be reliable.

    Thanks!

I have tried physical therapy but it hasn't helped much. Before I chose to get the cortisone shot, I wanted to know if anyone had tried acupuncture for joints/arthritis. Does it help? I'm only 25 and don't want to live with this forever! Thanks!

  • How do you know when your marriage is over?

My husband and I have been together five years, married 15 months. I love him very much but at this point, I am not attracted to him, I don't like him most of the time, and I don't think I'm in love any more. He's a great guy, but he may be an alcoholic, he is very insecure, he doesn't help out around the house, and he loves me to death. Our communication is terrible, he has the emotional development of an adolescent due to a rough childhood and I can't help him with his issues. I do not like taking him into social situations because he can be unpredictable and embarrasses me most times.

The biggest issue, he wants kids and I don't and if I ever change my mind, I don't think I'd want him to be their father. I love him a lot and he treats me great most of the time. We are going to counselling in five days for the first time. Any take on the situation would be great, thanks!
