Good home remedies for covid? I don't want to go to the hospital.?

    Favourite answer:

We don't have "remedies" for COIVD.  We treat symptoms.  We give steroids and prevent clots typically.  If patients can't breathe, we apply high flow oxygen or even place them on a ventilator.  We encourage patients to prone (lay on your stomach) and practice good pulmonary toilet (deep breathing, and coughing).

    What are your symptoms?

    how do you cure constipation?

    Favourite answer:

Drink more water, yes - liquefies stool and the intestines

Massage the belly - helps mobilize the stool

Exercise - also helps mobilize the stool

Consume more fiber (whole grains, oranges, prune juice) - basically makes stools softer by allowing the poo to absorb water

Consume a laxative (like milk of mag) - forces your intestines to pull water from the body to make stool so soft, it then becomes liquidly and will basically pass through the body like uncontrolled diarrhea.

Did anyone get side effects from the first dose of the Pfizer vaccine? ?

So I got mine last night and I woke up with a sore arm and y body hurting.

Wasn’t expecting to feel sick because everyone has told me it’s the second dose that sets off your immune response to the vaccine but I’m in bed rn with body aches, nausea and overall I don’t feel well.

I guess this is a good thing since it means my immune system is doing it’s job. But now I’m expecting the side effects of the second dose to hit me stronger.

However, I prefer having these symptoms then dealing with Covid. Got it last year and that wasnt fun.

Would you get the Moderna covid vaccine?

I will be working at a senior home soon so they suggest that I get the Moderna vaccine (but I do not actually have to take it it's my choice - don't worry I don't go out anyway). Anybody have any thoughts on getting it?? Still not sure if I want to or not!

Why are doctors like this? Do they do this so that you can get the disease again in the future and they can get more money for their office.

Is there any vitamins that will help with my anxiety I can buy off the shelves?

I have been struggling with anxiety for years now. I get nervous around crowds and I don't eat out much due to my anxiety.

I also get nervous. Everytime I try to chew my food or swallow any type of drink. It makes me think I'm going to get choked. I feel like people are watching me eat, when they don't.

I gotten anxiety twelve years ago after my aunt passed away unexpectedly. I was close to her,but I haven't been grieving over her since I tend to keep myself busy to help with my anxiety and positive thinking.

I bought some anxiety relief supplements at walmart by Nature Bounty, but the reviews on that was,it gave people headaches, and heart pain. I don't exactly know how safe these supplements are?

Any suggestions on vitamins or supplements that is safe to take without nasty side effects?

How can you make yourself throw up?

    Favourite answer:

Syrup of ipecac is no longer sold in stores. In cases of non-corrosive poisoning, there are better treatments than making the person vomit, most involving activated charcoal.

I know this because I'm a writer and had reason to research it three or four years ago, when a character needed to feign illness, and you asked at the Books & Authors board.

Making yourself vomit is rarely the best method to feeling better or dealing with overeating or anything else.

Is there an herb I can take to feel better about life?

    Favourite answer:

Some swear by St. John's Wort.  The truth is that herbal remedies are very ineffective.

As a staunch believer in science,  I am going to tell you how to lose fat,  prevent diabetes II and most heart disease AND how to feel less depressed and anxious.

Ironically,  if you have read this far, the path to do this is really a home remedy.

Seriously,  eat ONLY whole foods and drink ONLY water, unsweetened teas and unflavored milk.

    Get regular physical activity.

Science supports the evidence and I can fully explain the biochemistry behind this, but the remedy remains not medical.
