Do I need a specific Freon for a 2006 Scion tC or can i use any one ? ?

The freon that's in the auto parts store right now is compatible just pick up one of those disposable kits and fill it up.

Open the hood and look at the sticker in the hood on your car. It will tell you the refrigerant specification and the weight of refrigerant.
