Does this sound like a scam?

I’m selling a vintage chair on craigslist for $300 and I was sent this. Does this sound legit?

Scam scam scam. Not legit. This buyer will contact you after a couple days saying the check cleared and will ask you to ship the item immediately because pick up is impossible due to work and schedule problems and she needs the chair immediately so you can keep the extra 50$ for your troubles  About four or five days after you'll be told the check was bogus. All checks take longer than a couple days to clear. You won't have your chair and you won't have any money. There are three common tells. The I'm too busy tell; the cashier's check tell, and the overpayment tell. To paraphrase baseball, three tells and you're out.

Always deal local, always do cash for pick-up, and never ever take any type of check.  Here's an article with advice for sellers who want to avoid being scammed by buyers https://www.techwalla.com/articles/how-to-identify...

Scammity-scam. The cashier's check will be fraudulent, but you'll have already shipped the merchandise.

It is very suspicious. With the garbled English. Something wrong with her "work frame", a device for woodwork! There is no picture for a social page where she claims to have a daughter and is preparing for a wedding. It is also very suspicious that she offers to pay $50 extra for nothing! And she's not even going to see the chair when it's picked up. She's even paying extra for a company to collect it. Very dodgy. Check bought using a stolen credit card most likely, when discovered the payment will be reversed, by which time she's gone and you don't even know what she looks like.

It ends looking like a standard form she sends out to all the victims. She doesn't want to talk but only text. Probably because it is a man!
