I have a Jeep book that teaches you how to take apart your jeep but it looks as complicated as fixing a TV, computer, or washer machine?

Taking them apart is actually easy. Knowing WHY you have to take them apart will be harder.

WWII Jeeps were simple. Modern Jeeps are as electronic and complicated as any other car. (or tv, or computer and even a modern washer.)
Wranglers just try to look simple and rugged

It's not that complicated - but if you know nothing about auto repairs, parts terminology and you don't have a good set of tools it can be a daunting task (same for tv's computers and not so much washing machines). IF you can follow instructions and take the time to review videos and find alternative ways around problems then no different than repairing any other vehicles - and somewhat easier because there is more room to work under the hood and under the vehicle.

Biggest problem on Jeeps is the brake caliper slide pins always seize up. You need an oxyacetylene torch to heat up the caliper brackets to free them up. Your best bet for learning how to do things on your Jeep is to do a search on youtube for videos showing you how to go about repairing them.
