how do i convince my mom to let me get birth control?

so i’m 14 and my period is horrible. it’s debilitating and heavy. i asked my mom for the pill and she always just says “it messes your body up” and tons of religious ****. i need her to understand that i’m over my periods and i’m at the age where i start to do things with guys. the guys i’ve done things with refuse to wear condoms. lord forbid she figure out i’m sexually active but i don’t want to get pregnant OR have such intense periods. is there any other things i can use to convince her to let me have it? idk which is better, the pill or the implant, either.

Update:

and my period is quite regular, five to seven days once a month for the last four years. i also have taken plan b before and my body handled that well so idk if the hormones in plan b would really suck all that much for me

Update 2:

i tell my mom absolutely everything, aside from my sexual life. it’s not that i wouldn’t discuss it with her, it is that she is ******* religious as ****. she’d kill me and send me to a christian private school.

cant you go to the doctors by yourself - as you are 14 you dont need parental consent for any medical issues

Get it on your own, Planned Parenthood, county or city health clinic, etc.

    You need therapy.

Were you abused and that is why you are seeking sexual attention?

The pill is the best for helping with your periods. If you see your doctor regularly, maybe she could help you talk her into it. In some places you could try going to a clinic on your own. Some states do not allow clinics to notify parents when you vet birth control.

Don't do things with guys who won't wear condoms. Trust me, if thats the only way they get to do it, they will put one on. If they are doing the same with other girls, then it's only a matter of time before you get an STD.

If you are too immature to discuss your sexual activity then you are too immature to be sexually active.

If the guys you are with refuse to use condoms then refuse to be sexually active.

Not sure where you live but in most places you are below the age of consent, so it is likely your partner's are guilty of statutory rape if you have already needed plan B.

You sound very vulnerable and need to value yourself.

The hormones of plan B and birth control are likely to do long term harm to someone so young. Including increasing your risk of a range of cancers.

Talk to your mother about the problems with your periods and ask to see a doctor regarding this. It is unlikely that contraceptive pill will be a suggested treatment at your age.
