Are Germans okay with being called Nazis?

Not at all.  It would be like calling Americans slavers, or Indonesian cannibals.

There are a few closet Nazis in Germany and they naturally go to great lengths to disguise their political views.

There are some openly Nazi Germans, and they don't care if you call them Nazis.

But most thinking, sensible Germans are still horrified at what their fathers and grandfathers did under Nazism, and are most certainly NOT "okay with being called Nazis".

NAZI was or is a hypocorism for the name of a political party. The party's full name was in German Nationalsozialismus.

Very close in nature to the socialism of the DNC.

So to put this in perspective-

The average German was as happy being called an NAZI and the average US citizen is being called a Democrat. The actual percentage of the populations that were or are of these parties is about equal.
