Would there be better cops and better training if they weren't de-funded?

I live in a large city, they have initial civil service tests for the police force. They take the highest scores first for continued consideration. The problem is like the last round of hiring the city waits 2 years before they start calling people and by that time many people moved on and found jobs they are happy with and the pool shrunk to people who scored in the lower half of those who took the test

Well that’s common sense but liberals have none.

What’s the budget for police and how much are they losing? I’d love to hear you elaborate on this. 

Yeah! They need more money to be able to tell these two things apart !

They just need to be properly vetted with extensive background and social media checks
