Aren't enlightened nations supposed to do this?

They take care of all it's citizens, and make 

sure no one goes hungry or ends up homeless. 

And if so, does America admit it's still primitive? 

I'd say, Yes.

    Historically, and people chorus, "I'm suffering, give me money."

    Raising humans to such a result loses a coexisting society.

    I could hardly have put it better myself.

    1.  An enlightened nation realizes that people are the most important thing.

    2.  The US is NOT an enlightened nation.
