Voice acting lessons?

Hey there community! Just out of curiosity if there are any sites that are teaching voice acting lessons; i.e: for cartoons and animation mostly..That have one on one live lessons and aren't just prerecorded.

I know it's nearly impossible to get a class not online for anything due to the pandemic..But I just feel listening to prerecorded messages won't really help me improve. If anyone knows anything please let me know!

Thank you!

Almost all voice-work goes to fully-trained and very experienced actors - they do the occasional bit of voice-acting just to earn a little extra money in between ordinary acting roles.

I mean - think about it. You have a role to fill in a cartoon or commercial or whatever - who do you choose to audition - a kid with no experience or a professional actor with a fantastic résumé showing years at drama school and loads of stage and film experience?

Pretty sure you're not asking just out of curiosity... Well, anyway, you learn voice acting by taking regular acting lessons. All voice actors are regular actors who've happened to land voice acting gigs among other types of acting gigs. So you're gonna have to take acting lessons, as well as vocal training with a vocal coach. You don't take acting or vocal lessons online. Acting you can only learn by interacting with other people, in a group. All those online courses don't actually do much, they're close to useless. As for vocal coaching, you need a one-on-one, in-person sessions. Some vocal coaches offer vocal sessions online, but it's not enough either. So if you do find voice acting lessons online, they're mostly a money-grab thing.

I'm afraid you'll have to wait till you can finally start taking classes offline. And if you're interested in an actual career, you'll need to pursue *acting* as a career by (among other things) going to a top-quality acting school and, if you want at some point to audition for voice acting gigs, take loads of quality vocal lessons.
