what was your favorite childhood books that your mom, or dad, grandma, nanny,babysitter read for you?

My grandfather read to me (my parents made up stories that could weirder as they began to fall asleep).

I don't remember my parents ever reading to us. My mom told me I taught myself to read by age 4. My reward for going to bed on time was to be able to read for an additional 15 minutes. Of course, as soon as I found a flashlight that time was greatly expanded.

Jack and the Beanstalk

Noddy  books and Mabel Lucy Atwell books were my favourites,  the  illustrations were great. 

Winnie the Pooh

The Saggy Baggy Elephant.

The Pokey Little Puppy.

A Is For Apple.
