when youre a delivery driver?

i'm just wondering when people deliver can you have another employee with you, for saftey reasons, or to help you get to the place you need to go if you happened to get lost? like being a pizza delivery driver, or a ups driver, drivers like that?

    No.  They aren't paying the other employee to babysit you.

    Yes.  But you have to pay them out of your pay.

  • With light deliveries you wouldn't need to have some one with you. 

    If you're working for a moving company, then that would require more then one person. Other then that, it may be for training purposes.

    Not happening.  Why would they pay 2 people to do the job of one?  UPS does use helpers during the holiday season, but it's not a normal occurrence.

    Short answer is no. They aren’t going to pay two people to do the job of one. With GPS on pretty much every phone (and in most vehicles), you certainly wouldn’t need a person to help you get someone or keep you from getting lost.
