Hello everyone! How much do y'all think I can ask for my 2007 Honda Civic Si Coupe?

It needs a new motor. I hate to get rid of it but it is just taking up space in the garage. Thank you all!

You might get a little more for it if you do the research and find a good replacement motor and maybe an installation deal to make it easier on a buyer, both by having the motor available and him knowing what it will likely cost...

An 07 with a blown engine? How much does it weigh? I could google scrap iron prices in your area if you need me to.

You can ask for as little or as much as you want.

What is far more relevant is what someone is willing to pay you for it...

If it doesn't run it's worth 50 bucks.

You can ask whatever you like.

How much you are *likely to get* for a 13 year old car that 'needs a motor' varies depending on the condition of the rest of the vehicle.

Craigslist, Ebay, or Facebook marketplace might be some good places to list it - and see what people are willing to offer.  I probably wouldn't give you more than $1K.

Selling it to a scrap yard will get you about $300.  No one is going to spend $4,000 for an engine on such an old vehicle.

I just junked my old car. Do a search for "Peddle.com" or "Carbrains.com". They offered me $450 and come pick it up.

If the body is in good shape without any rust or major dents it would be a shame to junk it. Definitely sell it on craigslist. I would probably ask $800 and then bring it down if it doesn't sell within a few weeks.

ring up the car removals tell them what it is and see what they will give you.

scrape metal value is about all you will get

Probably cost you about $200 to the person who tows it away.

Call a company that buys junk cars - they will give you some money and tow for free.
