Should I buy a Jeep from a dealership that has 160K miles but it is in super good shape and only had 2 owners. Jeeps can go up to 400K miles?
Its a great deal for a Jeep Wrangler Unlimited X 2008.

Modern jeeps as with all modern vehicles are designed to fail and designed to be traded in every 4 years so anything beyond that becomes a expensive gamble

pull a Carfax report I bet they're asking 7300.00 but will take 6300.00 to 6700.00

Your call.
You failed to mention how much they are asking for it (too much would be my guess).

its upto you , depends on the price , jeeps that last 400k miles have a lot of money spent for repairs on them and are good for the scrape heap . hope your wallet is healthy , it will cost you in repairs .

I would first check and make sure all major parts are in good condition eg,no knocks in the engine, transmission shifting properly and fluid clean, brakes wipers engine codes signals lights front end and tires for abnormal wear check it all because once you buy it the problem is yours good luck.

Wranglers are great off roaders. If even 1000 if those miles were done off road , things will be badly worn. You need to get underneath, to see if there’s any scrapes on the underside. They gave big ground clearance so it’s unlikely to have been done by speed bumps.
I owned a Jeep once, it was falling apart at 4 years , 25 000 miles, so personally I wouldn’t touch this one.

What is the price for it? if you can get it for like $2k then go ahead just make sure you test drive it and check everything out. I would not pay a penny over $2k for that thing especially since it's a jeep not known for reliability and it has 160k miles.

I got mine new - the shop had it more than me - never got more than 12 mpg - I got rid of it when the warranty ran out and yearly repairs went over $3500 - A YEAR.

I never buy used cars with more than 50,000 miles on them. Find out if the dealer gives any kind of a warranty.
